It's Movember!

We are already a week into November, or Movember! Ever wonder what it is all about? The Movember Foundation started in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia. Their goal is to raise awareness and fundraise to support prostrate and testicular cancer in men, as well as mental health concerns. They do this by asking men all around the world to start the month off clean shaven, then grow their facial hair throughout the month. Men can register through their website, and ask friends to donate to the cause. The moustaches are way to start talking about the cause to friends and raise awareness.

Men aren't the only ones who can join in. Women can help raise awarness and donations to the cause (without the 'stash'). They are referred to as 'Mo Sistas.' Read more about the movement, its cause, and how you can help at their website here.
